Based on the most current data available, the Environmental Working Group (EWG), a non-profit organization based in Washington D.C., has come out with their latest version of the Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides, detailing the twelve fruits and vegetables with the highest levels of pesticide contamination and the fifteen with the lowest (1). The introduction of this new Guide is accompanied by the video below in which the renowned physician and health commentator Dr. Andrew Weil gives his comments and opinions on how to use it (2).
